Why Do People Get Our Hot Stones Massage?

The heat relaxes the muscles, allowing the therapist to work the muscles without using deep pressure. Many people also find the warmth of the hot stones to be comforting and relaxing. Hot stone massage can aid a variety of health conditions:

  • Back pain and aches
  • Poor blood circulation
  • Osteoarthritis and arthritis pain
  • Stress, anxiety and tension
  • Insomnia
  • Depression

What Can I Expect During My Hot Stones Massage?

The smooth hot stones are heated in an electrical heating unit with an adjustable thermostat control tuned to the optimum treatment temperature. Our spa therapist will hold the stones first to ensure that their temperature is optimal for treatment and not too hot. However, this may vary according to personal preference so do let your therapist know if you feel that the stones are too hot.

Our spa therapist begins by applying the aromatherapy oil to your body, which allows the hot stones to glide smoothly along the muscles to massage your back. After the hot stones have relaxed the muscles, the spa therapist will remove the stones and give you a massage. The hot stones will then be placed back on to the body and left for a short period of time.

It is recommended that you opt for at least 90-120 minutes of treatment to enjoy the full relaxing effect and healing touch of the hot stones massage.
